About The Surrender
Another poem/ written thing
You’re tired: lacking sleep, lacking life, lacking vigor. You have to do this all over again. Sleep is a state you wish you could inhabit permanently. What sorrowful bliss. This lifelessness. But oh, those dreams… They're enthralling aren’t they? You wake up in a daze of vague images and muffled sounds. There’s no time to remember… It’s time to go to work again, do the same thing over again. But what of you then? Surely you ought to remember The feeling of the surrender as it latches onto your body— You resist, tense up. The push pull deepens. Now you feel you can't get out of this. What a bright hole you have Served for you on a platter, really that's what it is. The question of do you surrender To the hollow within. It beckons you quiet yet gnarls like a beast. You want rearangement yet it is not complete; Without the surrender of what you beseech.
